Philly Fellows is currently accepting applications for the 2009-2010 fellowship. Applications are due January 31, 2009 (emailed or postmarked). The fellowship will
begin in late July of 2009 and run through early July of 2010.

To be eligible for the fellowship, students must be:

•Graduating seniors in the Class of 2009

•U.S Citizens or Permanent Residents

Philly Fellows holds info sessions at a variety of colleges in the region including Penn, Temple, Swarthmore, Haverford, Bryn Mawr, St. Joseph's, and Drexel, but students from all colleges are welcome to apply. A demonstrated connection to Philadelphia is a plus.

Recommendations and transcripts can be sent directly to Philly Fellows. Application materials can be addressed to "Philly Fellows Staff".

Application Schedule:

Fall/Winter 2008-2009: Philly Fellows staff hold information sessions at each our partnering colleges

Late December, 2008: Application forms available for download

January 31, 2009:  Applications due to Philly Fellows (emailed or postmarked)

Late February, 2009:  Selected applicants invited to interview

Mid-March, 2009: 2009-2010 Philly Fellows are selected

March-early April, 2009: Fellows interview at 3-5 host agencies of their choice to determine the best match

April 2009: Fellows receive final placements

July 2009 - July 2010:  Fellowship year
